I have a bunch of silicon spatulas that I've bought over the years, this one that I got almost 5 years ago is still my favorite. Most of the others have wood handles that slide off for easy cleaning. This has a metal handle that is firmly attached. Not only does it require less cleaning versus wood (and has no issues being put through a dishwasher), it just stands up to really heavy-duty mixing better. Not that other spatulas fall apart, they just don't feel as solid to me as this one. So when I need to do some serious mixing, this is the one I often grab for. It's not the most comfortable handle, or ergonomic in any way, and the spatula itself is fairly thick and inflexible, so perhaps not the best for bowl scraping (I use my Le Creuset spatulas for that kind of job) but for mixing purposes, particularly anything that a wooden or plastic utensil might struggle with, this is the tool for the job. Really stiff batter, breads, etc. are not a problem for it. For such a low price, it's worth having one in your kitchen.
Just keep in mind that being a metal handle, it can sometimes get warm if left in a pot for instance, particularly if the metal is resting against the side of something on the stove such that it is in direct contact with a hot surface. Generally I don't leave my spoons in stuff that is cooking, but if you do that might be a concern.
