I grew up with the white version of this rolling pin, and LOVE it. The marble doesn't stick to anything, and it stays nice and cool to help with finicky dough, such as pastry. The weight makes rolling out everything from cookies to pizza dough a snap. The only thing I can be picky about is the aesthetic. I wish since they went to the work to find a beautiful dark marble that they'd bothered to lacquer the handles and base in black as well, but of course that doesn't effect the awesome functionality one bit. Definitely would recommend this to any baker.
